“ My goal is to help people realize that baking is not as intimidating as they think. I am entirely self-taught, and if I can do it, anyone can. I try to include something for everyone’s tastes, walking the line between classics and creativity, and I strive to make every single recipe straightforward and accessible to anyone who wants to try it. ”
When we first came across Nora, she had a more traditional baking blog, Buttercream Fanatic, where she posted tried and true recipes. In 2014, after health issues required her to alter her diet, she changed direction with her cooking and blogging, and A Clean Bake was born. Her focus is now on using clean and wholesome ingredients to recreate and improve upon traditional recipes. Nora is a self-proclaimed self- and mom-taught cook, and she’s reaching out to share the lessons she’s had in the kitchen, letting us learn from both her brilliant successes and the meals that ended up less-than ideal. Her approach to food doesn’t fit comfortably into any dietary box, so it is easy to find a recipe for a variety of food restrictions, including gluten-free, vegan, and refined sugar-free. For a healthy upgrade to your favorite bread, biscuit, brownie, and other baking needs, check out A Clean Bake for thoughtful and tested recipes and advice.
