Growing up with heavy Italian and Greek influences, Kristina spent a lot of time around food growing up. She always found herself in the kitchen with grandparents who taught her little trick here and there. Because so much of her life had revolved around cooking, she tried her hand at making sugar cookies at the ripe age of ten (2 cups of salt instead of 2 cups of sugar, it still haunts her to this day) Now a current student at Emerson College, Kristina spends her time trying out recipes in her dorm room to save her from dining hall food. And she’s discovered quite a few tricks through her years as a student. But when she’s home she likes to spend her time baking sweet treats. She would describe her cooking style as inventive, unorthodox, and fun.
