Ashley blames her extreme sweet tooth on genetics. She has fond memories of her grandmothers’ recipes, with warm fresh blueberry bread and almond crescent cookies. After becoming a pescatarian and taking a nutrition course, she’s discovered the charm in recipes that cater to both good taste and good health. When not in class at Emerson College, Ashley is running, biking, reading, or interviewing bands. She can’t call herself a cook by any means, but she enjoys learning from her own disasters (and successes). She loves unearthing new food and health blogs, and is especially intrigued by world cuisine. In the fall, she’s off to study abroad in Prague, where she hopes to fall in love with all Czech traditions, but specifically with potato dumplings.
