Julia is about to graduate from Tufts University with a B.A. in Italian Studies. While the details of her future are still a bit hazy, her short-term goals include learning to make cured meats and sausages, starting a small cheese cave in her basement, and attending culinary school next winter. She learned to cook by throwing food into a pan and seeing what happens. While she still loves the spontaneity and chaos of experimentation, she is also passionate about simple, clean preparations that showcase high-quality ingredients.
