Finally, we don't have to choose between apple crisp or cheesecake for dessert! This brings the best of both together with a rich cheesecake center, apple crisp topping, and a big drizzle of caramel. Sarah, Recipe Hunter

Caramel Apple Crisp Cheesecake

The best of both worlds

We always hate having to choose between two desserts that we love, don’t you? Well, thanks to Carrie, now we don’t! This Caramel Apple Crisp Cheesecake is the best of both worlds – light, rich, and creamy cheesecake with a graham cracker crust on the bottom, traditional apple crumble with warm spices on top, and a big drizzle of caramel sauce to put it totally over the top…in the best of ways. And, it’s surprisingly easy to make! Unlike other layered desserts that require multiple cooking sessions, this is a bake-once recipe. The key is in letting it sit in the oven after baking and cooling it in the fridge to allow the entire thing to set. You’ll be able to cut perfect slices….that is, if you can hold yourself back from grabbing a fork and digging right in.

Carrie Burrill from Bakeaholic Mama

As a busy mom of three, I tend to go for things that are fast and easy. I am a firm believer anyone can make the time to put home cooked meals on the table. Most of my meals are made in 30 minutes or less, leaving plenty of time for dessert!

Just because you’re busy doesn’t mean you can’t put great food on the table! This is why we love Carrie – the blogger, baker, and “master mommy” behind Bakeaholic Mama, where she shares her take on classic and family-friendly recipes from her New Hampshire kitchen. Even as a multitasking mom of 3, Carrie has found a way to be creative with her recipes to make them fit both her lifestyle and her passion – simple, fast, family-friendly and absolutely delicious. And, she always leaves room for dessert!
